Investment strategy
The Relationship Is the Business
The most valuable sports businesses create reasons for customers to return, not simply reasons to visit. GSH believes durable value is created when businesses strengthen one or more stages of the player relationship, from improvement and participation to operations, experience and long-term progression.
Clubs and academies can sit at the center of that ecosystem, while adjacent businesses can make the relationship more measurable, valuable and repeatable.
Where We Invest

Clubs & Academies

- 03 Partner & Improve
Align with management on measurable priorities and provide investment, operating and commercial support.
- 04 Scale Selectively
Deploy additional capital only when demonstrated performance supports disciplined expansion.
Thesis-Led Research
GSH uses proprietary category research, competitive intelligence and market analysis to identify emerging opportunities across participation-led sports businesses. Research helps us understand where customer behavior is changing, which models are gaining traction and where economics may support investment.
Court 17
The thesis in practice.
Court 17 is a proposed Greater London padel-and-tennis members' club that brings together four elements of the GSH thesis: sport, player development, hospitality and social connection. It is one planned application of the broader GSH investment framework.
